The Gavagh Quest

The Garvagh Quest is an interactive game (part treasure hunt, part immersive theatre), created by Big Telly Theatre Company and led by actors, traders and volunteers, starting at the Garvagh Community Building and using multiple locations across Garvagh.
ADULTS – £4 KIDS – £2
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, involves the protection of a village called Garvagh 54.9833° N, 6.6876° W, altitude 71 metres, a village on the banks of the Agivey River, 18 kilometres south of Coleraine on the A29 route. Your task is to defeat Abhartach, a wicked wizard who has returned to Garvagh and now threatens to conquer the village and cancel Christmas for ever. But Abhartach does not know that teams of highly skilled operatives working undercover are ready to thwart his evil plan. He also does not know that Garvagh, thanks to the Grand Tour of a certain Lord, has a secret weapon which, if correctly harnessed, will catapult Abhartach into oblivion.

Each team begins their journey at the allotted time and uncovers a series of clues which take them on a journey through the town, in and out of shops, cafes and public areas. The experience lasts an hour.
As part of the experience happens outdoors, please bring appropriate footwear/clothing. The game is suitable for ages 8+ and each team must include at least one adult. There will be refreshments at the end of your quest in Garvagh Community Building.
