Want to design and make your own felt hat? Then join me at my Fabulous Felt Hats workshop.
In this workshop you will design and draft a hat pattern which will fit you, then up-scale. Using a resist you will lay out layers of wool fibres in your custom colours then add decorative features such as cords and spikes, ruffles, flaps and brims – the choice is yours! After shrinking and blocking your fabulous hat will be complete.
Workshops take place in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere and are suitable for beginners or those with some experience as the day can be guided to suit your skill level. Most of all, you will be learning a new skill with likeminded people, come with friends or meet new friends. All materials will be provided but you will need to bring some small pieces of equipment.
